Mushroom tea is like herbal teas, low in calories but high in antioxidants and phytonutrients. Each mushroom has its own unique nutritional profile.
π€© Mushroom tea is super trendy right now and there are several kinds on the market including chaga, reishi, cordyceps, lionβs mane, and other kinds of mushrooms.
π₯ Itβs not surprising, really, because mushrooms have been used in traditional medicine for centuries. Like herbal teas, they are low in calories but high in antioxidants and phytonutrients.
π‘ Mushroom teas can help boost your mood and energy β help with concentration, memory, and focus β improve your cholesterol levels and immune function β and protect your heart health!
ππΎ PLUS they are promising cancer fighters!
β Each type of mushroom has its own unique nutritional profile β for example, chaga is an antioxidant powerhouse, while cordyceps helps with energy and athletic performance.
β TIP: Experiment! You can drink mushroom tea just as you would any other tea. You can also add into a latte or use it as a smoothie base!
βHave you tried mushrooms tea before? Are you a believer? If not, I've got a great recipe for you to try.
βπ Mushroom tea is growing in popularity because of the many nutrition benefits mushrooms have β from adaptogens to antioxidants. They are pretty impressive!
π But they definitely can taste a little on the βearthyβ side.
